Water Conservation in the vicinity.
Objective of the practice:-Â
1. To create awareness about water problem.
2. To create awareness on water conservation and water management.
3. To increase ground water level.
4. To work for society.
Context: Beed district is a drought prone area with low rainfall. Therefore, there is water scarcity in the district. In this, the problem of drinking water for human and animal has been solved for some time by building  vanrai bandhara (Forestry Dam) in Dhotra Village and Roulasgaon Village.  The institute try to create awareness among the villagers about the importance of water.Â
The Practice: The institute to solve the problem of water scarcity in the vicinity has built Vanrai Bandhara (Forestry Dam) at the village of Dhotra. Even the institute has built Vanrai Bandhara (Forestry Dam) at the village of Raulasgaon. This practice of the institute to some extent has solved the problem of water scarcity and has increased ground water level.

Problem Encountered and Resources Required: Less awareness among the people regarding water conservation. Place for water conservation.

 Helping the families of suicidal farmers:
Due to poor financial condition the farmers are committing suicide. Farmers are not getting much support from the nature. The government’s negligent approach towards the farmers is responsible for farmer’s committing suicide. It becomes impossible for the farmers to meet two ends.  To break this vicious cycle farmers are commiting suicides. But our institute lends helping hand to the families of the farmers who have committed suicides. For that the institute, helps them by providing female goats sometimes, some times by providing flour mills,etc. so that the victim families can meet two ends.
Objectives of the Practice:Â
To create the awareness for farmers’ poor condition.
To lend helping hand to the families of farmers who committed suicide.
To make such families stand on their own.
The Context:Â Suicide of the farmers in the state of Maharashtra has become a burning topic. Almost everyday there is a news in the newspapers of farmers commiting suicide.It happens due to poor economic condition of the farmers.
The practice :As a social responsibility the institute chooses a family of the farmer who has committed suicide to help them some way.Â
Evidence of success:The institution helped the family of a poor farmer to stand on its own by providing the floor mill. The family chosen of the farmer who committed suicide was from nearby village.
Problems encountered: Insensitiveness of the society towards the condition of poor farmers. Limited resources. Lack of firm policy of government .
Resources required:Availability of enough finance. Willingness of the government.
